Colleen is has completed aquatic therapy certification through the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute (ATRI), and a national certification in Personal training through the World Instructor Training School (WITS) and ACE. Additionally, she holds a Lifeguard certification through the Red Cross. Colleen studied under internationally acclaimed Physical Therapist Peggy Schoendinger, which included various aquatic therapeutic techniques for adults and children.  Now adding Miracle Swim Program.

Colleen’s work history includes Water Sprouts, swim school in Woodinville, Community Integration Services in Woodinville, and managing the needs of quadriplegic adults through Elite Home Care, Bellevue.
Colleen Pattison, a northwest native, grew up on the shores of the Puget Sound, where she discovered a sincere appreciation and lifelong passion for water. Her natural enthusiasm and desire for enhancing the lives of others encourage her students to overcome their current limitations and reach their greatest potential.

With great enthusiasm, Colleen has recently teamed up with Orca Swim school to embark on a new path in the water!  Upon completion of a rigorous and in-depth certification process, she is now teaching Miracle Swimming, a methodical system of learning designed to help adults overcome their fear of the water.  This program has allowed Colleen the opportunity to fulfill her ultimate desire; to unite all those willing to the countless joys and benefits of being able to swim!
